We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Accountant based in Los Angeles, California. The primary function of this role is to manage the Academic institution's accounts receivables and oversee all aspects of student tuition management. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of credit applications, maintain comprehensive customer credit records, and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records

• Oversee all aspects of student tuition management, including tuition agreements, auxiliary fees, and payment collection

• Regularly monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of records

• Handle billing, cash applications, and cash collections efficiently

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar accounting role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing and Cash Applications

• Knowledge of Cash Collections and Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven problem-solving abilities

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
