Robert Half Accounts Payable Analyst in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare industry located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our accounts payable operations. Your primary duties will involve managing and examining invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and addressing payment inquiries. The right person for this role MUST have strong Microsoft Excel skills including V/H look ups.

Responsibilities:

• MUST have strong Microsoft Excel skill

• Implement and organize Accounts Payable procedures and functions

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing and verification of invoices

• Maintain detail-oriented interactions with employees and vendors

• Assist management in tracking and reporting department metrics

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and compliance alerts

• Handle month-end closing of the payables

• Streamline billing and collections processes

• Reconcile payments of invoices in a timely manner

• Oversee the General Ledger, including journal entries and reconciliation

• Validate vendor invoices and approvals before processing.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position within the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• Proficient in Account Coding, ideally with practical application within a healthcare setting.

• Demonstrable experience with Accounting Software Systems, specifically those used in the Healthcare/NHS sector.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP).

• Knowledge and practical application of Accrual Accounting techniques.

• Proven experience in Auditing within a healthcare context.

• Familiarity with Full Cycle Accounting, preferably within the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• Expertise in General Ledger management, again with specific experience in the Healthcare/NHS sector.
