Responsibilities

Open warehouse and prepare for workday; lights, doors, etc.

 Work on warehouse floor, in servicing yard and inside of containers (confined spaces) to perform the following

functions:

o Remove wood blocking/bracing supporting product

o Conduct banding and strapping functions

o Assist with warehouse cleanup after material movement

 Operate driven gantry cranes and large capacity forklifts(15k – 52k lbs.) to safely move product.

o Follow company guidelines and procedures for proper warning signals when operating cranes and

forklifts.

o Ensure equipment is not overloaded.

o Follow company guidelines and procedures for the safe loading and unloading of material.

 Lift and move around the warehouse materials and containers up to and greater than 50 lbs., following safe lifting

protocols.

 Pull work orders.

 Receive and ship product through inbound/outbound scanning process using a handheld scanner.

 Inspect material and make notations of any exceptions and or damages for all inbound and outbound shipments.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
