What You Will Do

Make a difference at a world-renowned national laboratory dedicated to helping solve some of the nation's most challenging national security problems. Supply Chain and Logistics Division (SCL) within the Weapons Production Associate Directorate (ALDWP) is focused on driving innovation and operational excellence in supply chain management. The selected candidate(s) will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of logistics, warehouse operations, procurement activities, and supply chain strategies. Daily activities may include, but are not limited to, analyzing data, assisting in material movements, streamlining processes, supporting acquisition of goods and services and other duties or tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program

• Must be enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent). Entering freshmen must provide documentation of acceptance into an undergraduate degree program.

• Must currently have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

Desired Qualifications:

• Awareness and/or experience with supply chain management practices

• Strong written and oral communication skills in a customer service-related setting

• Demonstrated organizational skills, analytical thinking, and observational skills

Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government, and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance. and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. Receipt of a Q clearance and additional access authorization ultimately is a decision of the Federal Government and not of Triad.

New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer.
