Job Title: Heliarc Welder

Job Description

Join a leading aerospace manufacturing company as a Heli-Arc Welder and contribute to the assembly and welding of aerospace products. This entry-level position is based in the Long Beach/Los Alamitos area, offering a starting pay of $32.22 per hour. Candidates will use GTAW processes on sheet metal, with responsibilities including setting up and operating welding machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring quality and productivity in all welding assignments. On-the-job training and certification are provided, with the opportunity to certify to Government, customer, and company specifications. The role requires the ability to perform Class B and Class C welds only.

Work Environment

The position is located in a large manufacturing aerospace company with 500 employees, operating in a union shop environment. Initial training may occur on the first shift (6am to 2:30pm), with the regular working hours on the second shift (3pm to 11:30pm), including a shift differential of $0.75.
