Job Title: IT Project Manager

Primary Location: Hybrid (30 miles to Lorton, VA 22079)

Clearance: Public Trust (US Citizen)

Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will establish and implement work standards and processes, delegate assignments to team members, and ensure alignment across multiple functional areas, including engineering, systems analysis, quality control, and administration.

  • Directs the performance of a variety of related projects that may be organized by technology, program, or client.

  • Oversees the technology development and/or application, marketing, and resource allocation within program client base.

  • Responsible for establishing and implementing work standards and processes; delegating contractor and subcontractor assignments.

  • Program areas typically represent more than three functional areas that may include engineering, systems analysis, quality control and administration.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, master’s in project management) is a plus.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in program management or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex projects across multiple functional areas.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage technology development and application.

  • Excellent resource allocation and budget management capabilities.

  • Expertise in establishing and implementing work standards and processes.

  • Experience in managing contractors and subcontractors.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations and team collaboration.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.

  • Must be a US citizen

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the program (e.g., IT, engineering, healthcare).

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the industry.

  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
