Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Longwood, Florida. The Assistant Controller will play a crucial role in upholding the financial integrity of our operations in the industry. The successful candidate will be actively involved in managing our financial records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting functions including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Carry out regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reports and statements.

• Oversee billing functions and ensure accurate invoicing and proper record keeping.

• Assist in the review of month-end close processes and variance analysis trends.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the support staff.

• Ensure smooth day to day operations of the financial department.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with Concur is a must.

• Must have experience using Crystal Reports.

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations is necessary.

• The candidate should have a strong understanding of general accounting functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• The candidate must have experience in auditing.

• Experience with billing functions is a must.
