Job Summary

We are seeking a Mobile Device Category Manager who is deeply motivated and brings proven experience to our energetic team. This individual will play an important role in bolstering the strategic expansion of our mobile product categories. The role encompasses comprehensive management of mobile product management from portfolio planning and product go-to-market (GTM) strategies and flawless launch execution, product forecasting and lifecycle management. The focus is on supporting the acceleration of mobile device revenue, enhancing device attach rates, and securing market share growth, all in line with our corporate budget objectives. This role is designed for someone who is ready their mobile product management experiences to the next level, contributing significantly to our growth and success in the mobile device business.

Responsibilities
  • Product P/L objectives support: contributing to achieving and exceeding corporate budget plan goals by driving initiatives that boost profitable revenue, device attach growth and market gain. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the mobile device category growth vision.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Advance for the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Understand customer demographics, segmentation and the needs by analyzing market trends, and spearhead product GTM and launches that drive devices growth and attach rates.
  • 4P's & Product Launches: Take charge of creating 4P's and GTM briefing, facilitating comprehensive understanding of the product's key selling points and value proposition across organization, especially with retails sales. Negotiate with OEMs for promotional contributions and strive strong sales result & high attach rates.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Insights: Keep eyes on industry's dynamic change and conduct competitive analysis and market research. Leverage mobile business experiences to support the informed decisions regarding the mobile device portfolio, accessories and operations. Offering concise communication on trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Device Launch Execution Management: Manage mobile device launch execution, coordinating with various organizational department and OEMs to ensure a seamless product GTM launch. Manage forecasting, inventory monitoring, store stocking strategy, PO recommendations, sales performance monitor and reporting.
  • Leadership & Ownership: Demonstrate an ownership mentality by being accountable for the work's quality and success. Simplify complex concepts for different audiences and undertake various responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fostering team and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to be stationed at Altice USA Headquarter in Long Island City, NY.
  • Skilled in forming effective partnership across essential areas, such as product management, OEM management, sourcing, sales, finance, marketing, logistics, eCom, customer care etc.
  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in mobile device roles, focusing on mobile product management, category management, portfolio plan & products GTM operations.
  • A customer-centric approach, with a strong grasp of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communications, strategic thinking and collaborative abilities.
  • A commitment to ownership, urgency, integrity and delivering high-quality work.
  • Bachelor's degree is required, Master's or MBA preferred.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00-$202,694.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
