What You’ll Do

As the Lead for Cybersecurity & Compliance Change Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving adoption of cybersecurity initiatives across a global company through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. You will craft and deliver clear, tailored messages that translate complex technical concepts into language that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will support key initiatives by advising on stakeholder identification, user journeys, and communication strategies that align with project timelines and organizational goals.

You will work closely with technical teams to create and manage content for training, awareness, and engagement campaigns, ensuring timely feedback and approvals. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, you will help build a culture of cybersecurity awareness, encouraging proactive behaviors and deeper integration of security practices across the organization.

You will be responsible for

Cybersecurity Change Management Initiatives:

  • Lead the development and execution of change management strategies that ensure smooth adoption of cybersecurity and compliance initiatives across the organization.

  • Partner with technical teams to translate complex cybersecurity and compliance concepts into messaging that resonates with various audiences, driving behavioral change and compliance.

  • Advise project sponsors on stakeholder identification, user journeys, and communication strategies to align with organizational goals and project timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Tailor messaging and educational content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevance to their needs and knowledge levels.

  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between cybersecurity teams and business units, promoting alignment and shared understanding of security goals.

  • Maintain communication channels and deliver consistent updates, guiding stakeholders through change with transparency and empathy.

Partnership with Cybersecurity Awareness & Training:

  • Collaborate with the Lead, Cybersecurity Awareness & Training, to identify opportunities for general employee awareness and engagement. While the Awareness & Training Lead focuses on broad employee engagement, your focus will be on ensuring successful adoption of specific cybersecurity projects and initiatives.

  • Coordinate efforts to ensure that messaging for cybersecurity initiatives aligns with broader awareness and training programs, fostering a cohesive approach to security engagement across the organization.

Process Development and Project Support:

  • Assist in developing content timelines, managing feedback loops, and overseeing approval processes to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness, engagement strategies, and overall change management processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement in content development, ensuring all materials are relevant, timely, and aligned with cybersecurity goals.

Content Creation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Create and curate materials for cybersecurity training, awareness, and knowledge management channels.

Foster a culture of learning and engagement through regular updates and interactive content that encourages understanding and adoption of cybersecurity practices.

You are adept at working closely with technical project sponsors to think through end-user experience, user journeys, and stakeholder needs. · Cybersecurity Fluent: Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, able to translate complex technical jargon into digestible information that resonates with various audiences, from senior executives to end users.

· Target Audience Expertise: Skilled in identifying and advising on target audiences and stakeholders, tailoring communications based on their needs and knowledge levels.

· Change Agent: Proven experience in influencing and shifting behaviors, promoting adoption of security initiatives, and helping stakeholders internalize new practices.

· Collaborative Partner: Strong collaboration skills, working with technical sponsors to ensure that communication strategies align with project timelines, user journeys, and organizational goals.

· Project Management Savvy: Ability to support change initiatives by managing timelines, drafting and refining content, facilitating feedback loops, and ensuring timely approvals and production.

· Effective Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create impactful materials that engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Strategic Thinker: Capable of advising on organizational change strategies, ensuring that cybersecurity initiatives are communicated and adopted in ways that align with business objectives.

Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables with precision and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent with communications experience; or BA in Communications or equivalent with experience in Cybersecurity

5 years communications or organizational change management experience; 2 years in Cybersecurity (any domain)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,500 to $165,750. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
