Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Director of Nursing and specific supervision of the Radiologist and/or Unit Charge Nurse and Radiology Manager/Director, the radiology/special procedures nurse will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing special procedures, for monitoring and dispensing medication to patients during procedural sedation, including the pre and post-procedure periods. The nurse will also be responsible for direct and indirect delivery of patient care of all ages for a wide variety of patient population through the use of the nursing process and the maintenance of the standards of the professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  • PALS

  • CA Registered Nurse license

  • 5 Years RN Experience

  • Certified Critical care Nurse (CT CCRN) preferred

Pay Range

$62.68 - $72.14 /hour
