Actalent Powertrain Test Engineer in Long Beach, California

Job Title: Powertrain Test EngineerJob Description

Coordinate endurance vehicle testing focused on creating high-quality results efficiently and swiftly. Key tasks include validation of powertrain, drivetrain systems, software and hardware validation, OBD diagnostics, and emissions testing. Manage various aspects of vehicle maintenance, technical status monitoring, and service provider interactions. Lead technical problem-solving activities, report on vehicle statuses, manage root cause identification, and oversee repair processes. Hold leadership responsibilities in meetings and control program budget, while actively participating in continuous process improvements.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Long Beach, California and some days remote.

Work involves both administrative oversight and active technical problem-solving with a focus on efficiency and quality. The role requires collaboration with both internal and external partners, continuous improvement participation, and leadership in multiple capacities.
