Responsibilities
Position Summary:
As our Manager of Nutrition Services Production at St. Mary Medical Center, you will direct all patient non-interactive positions (i.e. storeroom clerk, cooks, etc.) and provide for the operational needs of these positions. You will foster a culture of teamwork and quality, and ensure the maintenance of regulatory compliance (including TJC, CMS, state specific department of health, etc.) and infection control practices. You will be a visible leader, and communicate with staff and customers regarding the level of services they receive from nutrition services staff, and promote patient satisfaction with nutritional services. You will also collaborate in the process of menu development for patients, cafeterias, and catering services, and manage the facility diet manual, as well as patient diet and nutritional analysis compliance with the diet manual.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field required, or Associates of Arts degree with five (5) years of job related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of two (2) years of hospital nutrition management experience required.
Licensure:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required.
If not currently certified (CDM), certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Current certification as a ServSafe© Food Protection Manager.
Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe© Allergen certifications.

$35.13 - $50.94 /hour
