Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the Service industry, located in Long Beach, California. The role involves handling various tasks related to billing, customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute billing processes for completed projects.

• Confirm and manage purchase orders, ensuring necessary authorizations are in place.

• Manage collections and chase unpaid receivables.

• Maintain and update customer billing records, resolving any discrepancies that arise.

• Collaborate with management to ensure billing practices are accurate and consistent.

• Handle incoming phone calls, providing excellent customer service.

• Assist with various office duties as required.

• Arrange travel for employees as necessary.

• Utilize your skills in Billing, Purchase Orders, Collections, and handling multi-line phone systems to perform your tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Possess at least one year of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in handling billing processes efficiently

• Demonstrated skills in managing Purchase Orders

• Experience in Collections is a must

• Ability to answer multi-line phone systems effectively

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the role

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Candidates should have a strong work ethic and show commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and software systems as required.
