Description
Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable, accomplished Accounting Manager Consultant to support our private equity backed Healthcare client. The consultant will be responsible for the month-end close preparation including preparing all balance sheet account reconciliations, reviewing account reconciliations, ensuring all subledgers and reports match the general ledger, preparing any adjusting journal entries and preparing audit schedules as required by the external auditor. This role will be located onsite in Long beach, CA.
Skills:
-Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
-Must be able to work independently
-Roll -up the sleeves individual
-QuickBooks Desktop experience
-CPA ( not required bud ideal to have)
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting manager role or similar position
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Month End Close processes and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately and efficiently
• Strong expertise in Financial Reporting, with the ability to generate comprehensive financial reports
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credentials preferred
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
