As a Sr Pricing Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to review and summarize Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW) requirements to ensure our submittals are compliant with government contracting regulations. You will be assisting with maintaining a schedule for current and upcoming proposal activity, ensuring timely delivery of proposals to our customers, developing Cost Volumes in accordance with both RFP and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) conditions, and reviewing all internal pricing inputs. You'll uphold our rationale for and ensure adherence to approved labor categories and non-labor accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will lead the performance of the Cost Estimating and Pricing functions during the proposal life-cycle, to include new sole source and competitive proposals, ROMs and program change orders.

  • Participates in proposal kick-off meetings, clearly defining pricing requirements and proposal schedule to team members. Actively follows up with team regarding proposal pricing progress, any issues/schedule slips as they arise to ensure accurate and timely submission.

  • Provides strategic analysis of proposal products, data collection and analysis of proposed and negotiated pricing.

  • Ensures Cost Volumes are FAR compliant, professionally prepared and in accordance with company policies/practices.

  • Works closely with Contracts Manager to facilitate proposal approval process via ECRM and communicates progress up to proposal submission.

  • Provides fact finding and negotiations support to Contracts Managers.

  • Provides back up support/mentoring to Pricing team members.

  • Supports internal/external DCMA/DCAA audits as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience

  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience

  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • Experience using ProPricer or other similar pricing software.

  • Proposal leadership experience.

  • Government contracting experience.

  • Experience analyzing large data sets.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.

  • Strong time management and organization skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and make decisions quickly and effectively.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and environments.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Positive attitude and resilience to overcome setbacks and challenges of the proposal process.

  • Willingness to take initiative and lead when necessary.

  • Proficient in the use of MS office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Experience working in a classified environment.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
