Sierra Nevada Corporation Sr Marketing Manager in Lone Tree, Colorado

Sr. Marketing Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for marketing. This role is focused on our IAS ISR portfolio however prior knowledge of this sector is not required. Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the IAS business unit along with individual business areas in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The Sr Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with executives to determine marketing strategies and translating them into all marketing areas. The Sr. Marketing Manager’s duties will vary day-to-day, but their main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing, and executing strategic marketing campaigns, creating business development materials to nurture retention and attract new customers, as well as managing and developing copy writing, design, and creation of IAS marketing presentation materials. As part of an organization, the Sr. Marketing Manager will play the critical role in aligning creative direction with the IAS strategic goals. Candidate must be willing to learn about the aerospace defense industry. The ideal candidate excels at visual and written storytelling, and has experience in cross-team collaboration, critical thinking, project management, strategic planning, and hands-on campaign and presentation execution.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Roles and Duties:

  • Advanced software presentation capabilities in power point and word

  • Responsibility for all IAS Executive level presentations including DV visits, high-level Corporate Meetings

  • Oversee linkage of marketing campaigns to BD strategy

  • Implement marketing strategy that mirrors business development strategic campaigns and pursuits

  • Ensure the IAS communication has the right messaging to attract prospective USG customers/partners and retain existing ones

  • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including program management, BD, or corporate stakeholders

  • Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of strategic campaigns

  • Interface with other internal IAS marketing and corporate communications departments on trade shows, branding, and corporate marketing

  • Ability to successful weave BD and marketing strategies and graphics

  • Write creative, impactful, marketing copy for a variety of purposes

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc

  • Support the development and end-to-end execution of year-round marketing strategies and plans, aligned to overall portfolio business goals and objectives

  • Manage IAS Newsletter and all digital campaign calendar as well as pacing, reporting, surveying, and analytics for all campaigns and events

  • Interpret and analyze marketing campaign results and data for trade shows; develop recommended strategies, timelines, and tactics to further optimize marketing spend and campaign ROI

  • Coach and develop other junior team members to ensure execution of tactical marketing plans, deliverables, and responsibilities

  • Full life cycle support of Tradeshows marketing and digital graphics including budgets and ROI analysis

  • Actively contribute creative ideas for new campaign initiatives based on past campaign performance, current trends, and understanding of marketing and business objective

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 6-8 years of relevant experience

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

  • Oversight of and extensive experience in the marketing or administration department/function

  • Advanced knowledge of trade show event coordination and preparation of business development materials

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others

  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $138,634.92 - $190,623.01. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
