Primary Function

We are seeking a Video & Post Production Lead in London to work onsite at our client offices in London. This exciting, newly created role will be responsible for developing an emerging video production offering, along with supporting the already established event production team with post production services.

This is a creative role which requires in-depth knowledge of end to end video production and workflows as well as a core understanding of B2B audiences, key messaging, video formats and platforms.

The role requires someone with experience in building creative services and must have problem-solving skills and exemplary experience in team leadership, production management, creativity in video production, project management, line-management and stake-holder/partner relationships.

With this role being pivotal to a developing service, we are looking for someone who is adaptable and flexible in their approach, along with the attributes and experience to build the service offering.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Align creative with business strategy - building a knowledge of client's business, goals and objectives.

  • Lead, develop and mentor the video and post production services team.

  • Hold regular 1:1’s, support personal & professional development, escalation and complete appraisals for direct reports.

  • Acts as a Director/Producer/Editor for high tier productions.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement, make constructive suggestions and lead change.

  • Constantly work to maintain the highest quality production standards and quality control across the video and post production service.

  • Communicate the status of every project with appropriate stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Translate abstract client briefs and concepts into effective visual form.

  • Manage client interaction and expectations regarding video production support efforts.

  • Collaborate with Production Lead to develop insightful reporting data around video production offering.

  • Partner with the production coordinator to ensure equipment, spaces and resources are scheduled for upcoming shoots.

  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable communicating with VIP’s, Executives and Directors

  • Strong on set directing experience managing clients and production choreography

  • Previous Podcast production experience (Desirable - produced/directed Factual or Scientific content)

  • Excellent attention to detail for on-set productions & studio setup inline with Client branding & messaging.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross- functional team

  • Familiar with Project Management software and techniques.

  • Strong understanding of Adobe suite

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.

  • Self Starter that can demonstrate being open to learning, and assisting with the development of the video production service.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of studio and/or field video production experience as a Producer

  • Minimum 3+ years of line management experience in video production
