Salary £26,000 - £30,000 pro rata depending on experience + company car + other fantastic benefits.

We are recruiting for an exciting 4 month fixed term contract opportunity within our fantastic Field Sales Team for a Regional Sales Development Executive , to cover the London territory. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced field sales professional or somebody with a huge passion for sales looking to start their career within the largest food manufacturer in the world.

A day in the life of a Regional Sales Development Executive …

Reporting to a National Sales Controller, as a Regional Sales Development Executive, you will grow the sales through building great customer relationships and understanding the customer needs within your given territory. You will play a critical role in driving visibility, point of sale and display for all 6 NIM categories, the role is also to be a strong support to the territory Regional Sales Development Managers & National account teams in achieving their targets and objectives. You will also represent Nestlé at trade shows and customer events.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Executing brilliant placement, range, distribution and promotions in line with the company's overall sales objectives and regional goals. Win within the customers on your call file by driving brilliant execution and visibility for the Nestle brands.

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, insights, and recommendations to regional field teams and sales leadership.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the customers on the call file. Provide insights and recommendations to regional field manager and sales leadership on adapting strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Engage with the customer's sales organization such as their sales reps, telesales and floor staff to ensure best in class results via tactical activities such as focus days, retailer education and sampling at depot.

You need to be highly self-motivated with a hunger to be successful and possess a winner’s mentality along with the right attitude for this role. This field-based role requires someone with good organisational skills and the ability to multitask. You will be able to work autonomously and tour drive will come from a desire to achieve results and play your part in a wider team.

You will also have:

  • Sales or Customer Service work experience.

  • Prior experiences of Field Sales/Sales Management advantageous

  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding pre-defined targets

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders

  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)

  • Excellent time and diary management with exceptional organisation skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A valid driving license for the UK and willing & comfortable to drive to customers within your territory.

  • You may occasionally be required to stay overnight for work purposes/team meetings.
