The Value Stream Materials Manager is responsible for all materials activities related to the dry powder media value stream which impact our ability to quality products on time for our customers.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Materials, Supply Chain and Logistics and is part of the is part of the Materials team located in Logan, Utah and is an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Manage and develop a diverse team of materials experts to support production activities.

• Partner with operations leadership to support value stream and site KPI’s.

• Mitigate risks due to supplier delivery/quality issues, invoicing issues, and database management

• Use DBS tools to improve customer on time delivery, inventory turns and other business critical business KPI’s.

• Work cross functionally with commercial and operation teams to plan for capacity utilization of the value stream.

• Coordinate with finance and operations leaders to forecast financial KPI’s that impact the value stream.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years supply chain experience including skills in relationship management with stake holders

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP

• Experience leading or supervising projects or lean/team activities

• Experience leading data analytics related to managing supplier relationships

• Proven ability to systematically problem solve using data and lean methodology to deliver results

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Oracle-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

• CPIM or other Supply Chain industry certification
