Overview

  • Facilitate the collection, delivery, and sale of Surplus Sales items.
  • Collect used campus items for resale through Surplus Sales.
  • These responsibilities are applicable during the summer months only. Position Details: This is an on-campus ACA Variable Hourly position, providing a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is potential for increased hours during holiday periods.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various vehicles, including pickups and vans, both manual and automatic.
  • Handle the collection, delivery, and sale of Surplus Sales items.
  • Collect used campus items for resale through Surplus Sales

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid drivers license to perform essential job responsibilities, such as driving university vehicles and transporting materials Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in related fields and math skills are preferred, particularly cashier experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring full body movement, including squatting.

Advertised Salary $11.00 per hour

ADA The position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (50 pounds) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects.  Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Additionally, the work environment can include confined or narrow spaces. Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
