Overview The position for Home Visiting Program Coordinator III is a full-time position at Utah State University. The Home Visiting program is a national program funded through Utah's Department of Health and Human Services. This program is a curriculum-based program designed to enhance and improve parenting practices for specific populations. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and efficient program coordinator who is ready to lead a meaningful and impactful program here in Cache Valley, Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and implements all of the aspects of the Parents as Teachers Program and MIECHV contract.
  • Manages and oversees the administrative and daily operations of a State, Federal, and University Program ensuring all University, state, and federal policies and regulations are abided by.
  • Works closely with Utah DHHS and any other necessary partners/agencies to facilitate the growth of the Home Visiting program.
  • Ensures public and community awareness through child find activities, participation in advisory committees, and education of primary referral sources and community
  • Responsible for Direct Hiring, training, and retention of qualified home visiting personnel and support personnel
  • Monitor and administer program revenues and expenses; participate in finance discussions during financial meetings with directors or AD.
  • Coordinate with program Champion ensuring PAT model is executed to fidelity
  • Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program records and statistical information in compliance with DHHS, MIECHV, and USU.
  • Assure compliance and execution of PAT requirements and reflective supervision of MIECHV home visitors
  • Writes, edits, and coordinates the development of policy and procedures, promotional materials, educational materials, and training manuals as appropriate to the program.
  • Ensuring the program meets Annual Performance Review Indicators, State Targets, PAT Requirements, and related Corrective Actions
  • Engage in direct service of the MIECHV program providing services using the PAT model

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant work experience in early childhood; or a master's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience is required. Preferred Qualifications
