Overview This position will help gather and analyze data to understand significant trends, patterns and insights and help IDRPP more effectively target it's social media and web strategy.  In addition to analyzing IDRPP digital data, this position will help support projects with developing and updating web pages and content, mining data for relevant trends and insights, and analyze data to help projects and leadership make more informed decisions. This is a part-time, hourly position.

This position is telework-eligible within the state of Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Perform website audits to ensure IDRPP websites function efficiently.
  • Design webpages by collaborating with IDRPP staff and leadership to build customized web pages.
  • Maintain IDRPP websites and regularly update web pages with new content and information.
  • Work with IDRPP staff to evaluate and remove non-functional and outdated content.
  • Improve user experience on the IDRPP website. This will include analyzing user feedback to fix potential flaws and errors to improve the user experience and encourage online visitors to stay longer.
  • Design and maintain data systems to track and evaluate IDRPP web and social media data.
  • Prepare reports for IDRPP PR and Marketing team and Leadership Team to help them understand and evaluate online trends and metrics related to IDRPP websites and social media. Help IDRPP project directors to understand patterns, data trends and forecasts.
  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.
  • Collaborate with others on web and social media content and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Mine data to help inform IDRPP marketing and research efforts. Help to gather and organize data from different sources to help support IDRPP program development and improvement.
  • Employ statistical tools to identify sequences, trends and key metrics to help IDRPP leaders and project directors make data-informed decisions.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, a comparable discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data analysis.

  • Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
  • Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
