The salary range listed represents a broad salary range for this position. It is anticipated that this position will begin at $4,154 per month (effective 7/1/24), depending upon internal equity, experience, education, and training.

Description of Job

This position is located in the Student Success Center and manages the day to day operations of the Student Success Center and Testing Center. This position provides excellent customer service to students via face to face, phone and email and provides extensive telephone/personal contacts with current and future students, faculty and community members. This position s chedules advising appointments, assists in preparation of Registration Day, new Student Orientation and Welcome Week material, manage referral processes for Early Alert and academic probation. Interprets information generated from Internet Native Banner (INB) and provide INB training to faculty and staff. This position will train and supervise workstudy students who assist in the Student Success Center.

This position will manage the day to day operations of the Testing Center including scheduling testing, creating and maintaining data driven reports, determining course placement by interpreting testing results, creating invoices for Accuplacer testing, and coding testing results into Internet Native Banner (INB). This position will oversee testing proctors including assigning job duties, providing testing training, scheduling work and approving timesheets. This position will represent the college at Rocky Mountain College Testing Association and CCCS Testing group meetings. Manage the enrollment of concurrently enrolled high school students ensuring the completion of all application and registration processes.

Position will ensure testing center rules and procedures are strictly followed; closely adhere to the most recent testing procedures for each test including instructions, timing, testing materials, equipment functionality, irregularity reports, and test-taker misconduct. Position will schedule advising and testing appointments, create and maintain data driven reports and determine course placement,

This position performs and oversees all administrative and clerical functions of the Testing Center, including but not limited to: filing, scanning, mailing, and creating signs and forms for the testing center. Position will manage the enrollment of concurrently enrolled high school students, determine appropriate course and student coding for Banner, and also develop spreadsheets to track individual student enrollment, number of credits and tuition due.

In performing daily duties, the position will utilize a variety of different software for testing to include Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Access; Adobe and Banner. Proficiency with using these systems will be a critical component in performing the daily activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Only:

Thirty-six months (36) of clerical experience. In order to be considered for this position, your clerical experience and experience as a test proctor must be documented on your application. Computer literacy is a must. Position must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills due to multiple assignments and fluctuating priorities. Customer service is a priority as position will interface with a variety of people from many levels within the organization on a daily basis. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this position as well as the ability to diffuse tense situations as they arise and take charge when needed.Do not use "SEE RESUME" statements on application; your application must be completed in detail and clearly document your relevant work experience. (Part time experience will be pro-rated).

Education and Experience:

College, university, or non-correspondence business school course work from an accredited institution in Business or related field may substitute for the clerical experience as listed above on a year for year basis. A copy of your transcripts verifying the required credits must be submitted with your application.
