Job Title: Feed Mill Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Feed Mill Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing and packaging products in adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and other regulatory requirements. This position involves working within a feed mill, mixing feeds for farms, and adding various nutrients into the feed.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and package products according to SOP and regulatory requirements.

• Mix feeds for farms and add necessary nutrients.

• Operate forklifts and other machinery as required.

• Perform general labor tasks, including lifting up to 70+ lbs.

• Work efficiently in a warehouse pick/pack environment.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience

• Production experience

• Forklift operation

• Previous farm work or farm hand experience

• Warehouse pick/pack experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 months of work history in previous jobs

• Experience working in a physical job

• Willingness to be trained

• Any farming experience (preferred)

• Previous feed experience (preferred)

Work Environment

Candidates will be working within an enclosed feed mill, but should be comfortable with open doors and varying weather conditions. The work hours are as follows: 1st shift: 5am - 1:30pm, 2nd shift: 1:00pm - 9:30pm, 3rd shift: 9:00pm - 5:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lodi, Wisconsin.
