At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions. This role will be part of the Maintenance Engineering team in Lodi, CA and will work a 12-hour shift 5:00pm-5:00am Wednesday-Friday, alternating Saturday's

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work closely with Production and Engineering to monitor equipment status and performance

• Proactively address problems using the appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniques

• Carefully document all repairs and the appropriate adjustments made

• Assess the equipment’s performance and repair history and work with engineers to plan a preventative maintenance schedule as well as work on equipment upgrades as appropriate

• Perform equipment Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ & OQ) protocols

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years of related work experience or AA or Technical Trade Degree with 1-2 years of related work experience

• Must have solid understanding of interpreting manuals and schematics and have strong knowledge in mechanical alignment and the troubleshooting of automated mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment

• Must have experience working with pneumatics actuators and cylinders and familiarity with electrical/electronic components, Automation, Robotics, Sensors, Fiber Optics and motors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree preferred

• GMP experience a plus

• Understanding of Electrical and Electronic components

• Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this role is $25.38 - $33.65. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
