Description We are offering a contract for a Bookkeeper role in the transport industry, located in LOCKPORT, Illinois, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as managing payroll, processing bills, and maintaining precise financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll process for employees and contractors

• Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable

• Maintain and manage QuickBooks on a daily basis

• Reconcile accounts and conduct bank reconciliations regularly

• Enter and process financial data accurately

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic data entry and management

• Handle month-end closing procedures efficiently

• Resolve any financial discrepancies through account reconciliation

• Ensure all bills are paid, processed, and entered correctly

• Keep precise bookkeeping records for the company. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

• Capable of handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.

• Expertise in conducting Bank Reconciliations to confirm the company's records align with bank statements.

• Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records for the company.

• Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded in a timely manner.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for managing, analyzing, and presenting financial data.

• Experience in executing Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported.

• Proficiency in managing Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Experience in using QuickBooks for managing the company's accounts and financial transactions.
