Description:

The Senior (Sr.) Talent Development (TD) Consultant has broad knowledge of learning and development practices and services, and deep expertise in learning needs analysis and facilitation. Collaborates with leaders, stakeholders, and Service Area partners to recommend, communicate, and deploy national learning solutions locally or regionally; Facilitates and supports sustainment of select learning solutions (live or virtual) based on local needs and national deployment plans. Provides expert level learning and development consulting services and serves as a highly seasoned expert in the field.

Essential Functions

Consulting Services:

  • Provides learning solution consulting services for the deployment of existing solutions, and/or the assessment of learning needs and/or knowledge or skill gaps.

  • Delivers on TD goals and priorities in collaboration and alignment with assigned Ministries and Service Area partners.

  • Acts independently and aptly within the scope of knowledge and expertise in TD;

  • Assesses the readiness for learning solution deployment and impact.

Project Management & Decision Support:

  • Drive large scale national learning solutions in one or more Service Area(s) by building partnerships to foster & support systemness & scalability

  • Recommend learning solutions based on existing portfolio, and/or inform the curation or creation of new solutions in alignment with Trinity Health’s Competency Framework.

  • Provides communication, facilitation, and learner support.

  • Assesses Talent Development solution effectiveness within the Service Area in partnership with TD team members; Solicits feedback from within the Service Area;

  • Reports findings to TD and other Organization Effectiveness Teams for purposes of continuous improvement & informing national learning strategies & solutions

Professional Facilitation:

  • Expertly facilitates select leader development-based content and builds effective relationships with learning experience participants at various organizational levels including clinical and non-clinical colleagues, leaders, senior leaders, physicians, etc.;

  • Aligns facilitation practices with Talent Development facilitation and delivery standards and industry best practices

Communication

  • Forms strategic partnerships and consults with internal customers, stakeholders, and executive leadership within and/or across Service Area(s).

  • Supports communication efforts within assigned Service Area related to stakeholder buy-In and the deployment of learning solutions.

  • Communicates with key stakeholders and leadership regularly about learning solution outcomes and improvement opportunities.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of conduct, as well as other policies & procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Instructional Design, Communication, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • 7-10 years of experience designing, developing, & implementing learning solutions

  • 5+ years of formal facilitation experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project leadership roles & experience in current & emerging learning theories, learning trends, & technologies.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Health care experience preferred

Must reside in Northeast Region

Weekly Travel- 34%-66%

* This is a remote position. You'll live in the region but work from home and travel to the work locations

Pay Range- $49.80- $82.17/hr
