Job Overview:

Organ Transplants is seeking an Administrative Coordinator at CBMC, Livingston. This is a fully onsite, Per Diem, Day position.

The Administrative Coordinator assists with the operations and administration of the transplant team. This position involves coordinating administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to providers, patients, and families involved in the transplant process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Provides coverage to other areas of the Division as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to use a personal computer, calculator and standard office machines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Clerical perception, motor coordination and manual dexterity

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times

Preferred:

  • College degree

  • Office/Administrative experience in a medical setting

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Working Shift: Day Shift

  • Days to work: Based on Business Needs

  • Per-Diem

Essential Functions:

  • Diversified confidential administrative/secretarial duties for Transplant Administrative staff

  • Supports and assists pre-transplant clinical staff in day to day operations

  • Serve as liaison/receptionist for patients and families

  • Manages information and communication from referring dialysis units and physicians

  • Coordinates aspects of the transplant referral process including patient intake, entering confidential patient information into database system, and scheduling evaluation appointments

  • May assist SW staff with Patient Assistance Programs

  • May assist Outreach Coordinator with Division programs and outreach initiatives

  • Provides coverage to other areas of the Division as necessary
