Job Overview:

Under general supervision of the Program Director and/or Department Division Manager coordinates the department/division s residency/fellowship training program in accordance with department Graduate Medical Education policies.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• The candidate must possess a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

• She/he must be able to perform multiple duties simultaneously with some degree of flexibility

• Minimum of 1 year of residency program or student clerkship experience or 3-5 years of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting

Preferred:

• College Degree

Scheduling Requirements:

• Working Shift, Monday-Friday

• Day Shift

• Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

• Follows and helps to improve plans and processes on a yearly cycle that support department/GME requirements to ensure compliance, including recruitment and onboarding of trainees, maintenance of medical education databases and completion of projects

• Plans and coordinates educational and social events in accordance with established priorities, time and funding limitations

• Coordinates internal and external program relations, communicating with faculty and trainees to ensure smooth communications and effective and efficient coordination of GME training programs
