HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Primary responsibility is to manage the Thermal Solutions customer relationship with one or more key accounts to achieve optimum cooperation and good will between the companies. Substantial relationship building to foster growth of the business. Responsible for collaborating with all disciplines of the organization to ensure that Ferrotec’s interests are well represented and that the customers’ needs are understood, planned for, and responded to in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have strong ability to determine business drivers, create a strategy for driving growth, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life. Time traveling is estimated to be no more than 25%. Reports to the Director of Sales.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Sales – Primary responsibility is to generate revenue and increase market share by identifying and selling to prospective accounts though research and networking. Activities include program management, account development and establishing maintaining key relationships for new and existing accounts. Meet assigned revenue and profitability targets.

  • Develop sales pipeline consists of qualified lead generation. Regular update of the CRM with accurate information for pipeline development and opportunity closing.

  • Account Management – Maintains relationships for new and existing accounts in order to protect and grow existing business opportunities. This includes developing key account plans to align resources to support company growth objectives with major customers/opportunities.

  • Manufacturing – generates both short-term and long-term rolling forecasts for revenue and product / volume mix.

  • Competition – Benchmarks our products with the competition from a technical and business perspective. Monitors competitive forces that could compromise our position.

  • Works with the Product/General Manager and other functional departments to develop custom product specification and produce accurate and timely quotations that generate sales.

  • Works closely with the field sales force and customer base. Field presence will be a combination of trade-show support and customer visits in support of the sales effort.

  • Maintains a sound, fundamental understanding of product lines features, benefits, and capabilities in the core application areas.

  • Clearly communicate the customers’ requirements to the organization – product performance requirements, product specifications, logistics requirements, packaging, etc.

  • Working closely with the customer base, generate and deliver detailed revenue forecasts into the monthly and annual business planning cycles.

  • Engage and participate in Ferrotec’s marketing campaigns with attending/supporting tradeshow events.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • BS degree or equivalent. 6+ years of professional sales experience including 4+ years of account management experience with industrial, medical systems, automotive, and enterprise customers

  • Knowledge of Cooling systems and its sales experience is a plus

  • Salesforce usage experience

    Physical & Environmental requirements:

  • A typical day requires continuous sitting and/or standing in an office setting with occasional breaks. Standing and walking around 100k sq. ft. facility extensively throughout the day.

  • Able to comfortably lift 35 pounds without injury.

  • Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.

  • Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

  • Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

  • Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 100 pounds in all directions.

  • Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.

  • Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

  • Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.

  • Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • Occasionally subjected to low temperatures and high temperatures

  • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
