Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a desire to grow within the accounting field.

Pay Range: $24 - $30 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payments.

• Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliations.

• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.

• Prepare deposits and maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.

  Requirements

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar).

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
