As part of the Spectrum Convergence team, the engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary
engineering team on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) Program.
THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for Production professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks.
As part of the Trusted Security Solutions Team, you will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented. This is a Systems Administrator Sr. role that manages Linux infrastructures in support of cross domain solution projects. This role will include installation, configuration, and administration of windows and Linux servers throughout various environments. The Systems Administrator assists with resolving technical issues with applications, network connectivity and ensures security compliance of lab/development systems. In addition, this role will be responsible to ensuring technical data is transitioned and properly maintained in an isolated environment. Secret clearance required to start. Maintain two development networks in the TSS program allowing approx. 30 software and test member to complete their tasks. Supporting infrastructure servers, switches, NAS (network attacked storage), and workstations, both physical and virtual. During times of high activity this individual would also support TMAN Production team build and ship systems.
The Systems Administrator team works within the Deer Creek facility with limited ability to work remotely. Travel may be required based on program needs.
RESPONSIBILITES
The selected candidate will be supporting the TSS Program in all phases of the Systems Administrator process. Archon system integration: Maintain Archon gateway system, the gateway for the TSS Isolated Network. This gateway is a CSfC (Commercial Solution for Classified) network gateway. Troubleshoot and maintain user laptops to connect to isolated network (up to 50 laptops). Work with the Archon vendor to schedule upgrades and patches, and troubleshoot connection issues. RM Classified Development Network: Maintain small classified development network, less than 5 workstations. Work with IA and ISSO to maintain proper patching, STIG’s and user access’.
The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration, and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Security+ certification required to obtain within 6 months of starting.

Basic Qualifications:
- Travel may be required to fulfill the duties of this role, 25%
- Highly proficient in using and maintaining Linux (RHEL) Operating Systems
- Solid understanding of server administration, server architecture, specifications, software, networking, virtualization
- Demonstrated Experience with Disaster Recovery technologies, design and best practices, and an understanding of Data Storage technologies
- Experience with industry compliance frameworks and implementation of architecture to meet those standards (NIST/SOX/HIPAA)
- Strong understanding of network technologies (Cisco IOS preferred) and subnetting
- Secret Clearance is required to start
Desired Skills:
- Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of starting
- Prefer TS/SCI clearance. Minimal requirement is a SECRET clearance with an ability to obtain a TS clearance.
- Microsoft Server technologies
- Experience with Server Virtualization administration and technologies (VMWare, ESXi, VMView/Horizon, etc)
- Understanding of containerization/orchestration
- Knowledge of Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
- Experience with SAN/NAS/Virtualized Data Storage
- Experience managing isolated networks
- Familiar with Cross Domain Solutions architecture
- Currently valid Security+, CASP, CISSP or similar certification.

- Linux certification (Linux+ or RHCSA) – or obtain within 6 months
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $78,500 - $150,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
