The role is a Manager in the Corporate FP&A Department for a growing public company with businesses that range in function from manufacturing to Software-as-a-Service and digital products. This role sits in the Company's corporate FP&A function and leads overall SG&A analysis, forecasting, annual budgeting, and management reporting. This position will have significant exposure to senior leadership and reports to the Director of Corporate FP&A. The role will have one direct report, a Financial Analyst, and will work across the organization to manage the gathering, analysis, and reporting of SG&A information.

Responsibilities

Lead SG&A Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Planning, Headcount Management, Management Reporting and Analysis for the company Partner with shared services leaders to develop SG&A operating plans and forecasts to support company growth and profitability Support the CEO, CFO, SVP FP&A and Strategy and functional department heads with reporting and analyses to provide insights and recommendations Coordinate with the accounting department and key stakeholders on cost center structure and expense coding, ensuring mapping is appropriate and aligned with budget and business needs Execute process improvements and analyze proposed operational changes, to provide guidance and potential impact to the organization Manage monthly and quarterly SG&A reporting Monitor performance, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Support development of backup files for Earnings Releases and Board meetings Manage Financial Analyst to achieve objectives Ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree 5+ years' experience in the field of Financial Planning and Analysis; experience supporting SG&A budgets a strong plus 2+ years' experience managing at least 1 direct report Qualifications: Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills Organized, flexible and ability to adapt to changing situations Strong analytical skills with the ability to make fact-based decisions in a timely manner Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or quantitative software skills Hyperion/PBCS skills highly desirable Highest standards of accuracy, precision & integrity Effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to summarize complex information in a concise and simplified manner Ability to think critically, creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work closely with team members Must have a great attitude and ability to work across all levels of the organization Decision Making Level/Position Latitude: This position will have latitude over how work is organized between him/her and the Financial Analyst they manage Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to work from home in a virtual environment, where the following is required;
