This leadership position has responsibility for Space Systems Company Denver Facilities Operations and Strategy wastewater operations at the Waterton campus. This position requires management oversight for infrastructure equipment maintenance and operation including: wastewater collection/treatment systems, emergency/HAZMAT response, instrumentation, pumper trucks, and SCADA/HMI systems.

Develops and evaluates wastewater contaminates treatments. Must understand compatibilities of chemicals and materials to achieve treatment goals, ensure personnel safety and prevent infrastructure damage. Directs preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance to ensure wastewater compliance with State CDPS permit, Local Contribution Permit, Groundwater O&M plan, SPCC, Stormwater Management Plan, Site Remediation plans and directives, and integrated emergency response plans.

This position performs as and leads the environmental engineers and wastewater operators, chartered to provide 24/7 operations, building systems support for programs, production, and test operations. Maintains and operates the physical plant, consisting of 5400 acres and 4 million square feet of buildings and infrastructure. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the composition plant operations management of site maintenance activities; site administration for work order management system and the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity via CMMS and help desk/call center support; routine and preventative maintenance planning; energy demand management; maintenance material and services acquisition.

Schedule and manage work activities for planned utility outages. Lead team that troubleshoots and restores systems during unplanned emergency outages. Manage the performance and reliability of sewer and domestic water piping systems. Works with various electrical systems, including UPS, PLCs, and generators. Make and approve recommendations for system improvements and expansions. Author and evaluate procedures for process improvements.

Ensures full lines of business support, application of Plant Engineering to maintenance operations, support Facility Condition Assessment information to the capital and overhead infrastructure planning process, support energy management and preventative/predictive maintenance programs that preserve capital asset acquisition and achieve useful life expectancies, provide cost effective supply chain to support all operations, and oversight of 3rd party vendor support operations. Provide maintenance support to ensure department compliance to all contractual and regulatory obligations and corporate ethics policy and support internal audit inquiries. Operate to budget plan, support Facility Operations and Strategy strategic goals, meet certification and compliance training objectives, acquire necessary staffing, ensure development of employee technical training requirements, and sponsor and ensure implementation of LM21 process improvements and Risk Mitigation practices.

Basic Qualifications:

- Certified with Class A Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant License

- Class 2 (or higher) Collection System License

- 8 Years of Waste Water Treatment Plant Experience

- 4 Years of leadership management experience

- Strong leadership experience and proven track record of developing teams

- Finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles

Desired Skills:

- Working knowledge of Plumbing/Piping

- OSHA 24-hour HAZWOPER

- OSHA 40-hour site remediation

- Experience in HAZMAT response

- Commercial Driving License

- Experience working with union represented workforce

- Chemistry or Chemical Engineering background

- Working knowledge to understand and develop chemical treatments for wastewater contaminates

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), executive presence, strong interpersonal and overall communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $95,900 - $183,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
