Description
Robert Half has partnered with a Metro Denver Law firm who is looking for a litigation attorney to join their respected law firm. The selected candidate will be involved in all aspects of the litigation process, providing legal advice and representing clients in diverse legal matters including estate planning and probate work, criminal litigation, business and commercial litigation as well as other practice areas. This is a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will be expected to manage cases independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include:
• Managing all elements of the discovery process, which includes drafting discovery requests, responding to interrogatories, preparing for and conducting depositions, and reviewing evidence
• Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies tailored to the client’s goals through careful analysis of facts, legal implications, and case law
• Preparing high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and other related documents following detailed legal research
• Representing clients in pre-trial hearings, court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Communicating consistently and clearly with clients, updating them on case progress and advising them on legal options and strategies
• Leading or assisting in preparing cases for trial, including securing expert witnesses, preparing trial exhibits, and pre-trial briefings
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients when it is in their best interest
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, court procedures, and ethical obligations while maintaining case files
Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Attorney or Lawyer.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Document Management.
• Experience in Briefing and Civil Litigation is required.
• Proficient in handling complaints and disputes.
• Knowledge and experience in Estate Law and Estate Planning are necessary.
• Prior experience in Probate Law and Probate Litigation is a plus.
• Familiarity with the creation and management of Revocable Trusts.
• Expertise in drafting and interpreting Wills is mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
