Robert Half Legal has partnered with an established, well respected law firm in the Metro area. Our client is looking for a litigation attorney who will will represent clients in all phases of the litigation process, providing strategic advice and advocacy in diverse legal matters including family, business law, estate planning, probate & estate litigation, among other practice areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, negotiation, and trial skills with the ability to manage cases independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze facts, legal implications, and case law to develop and implement effective litigation strategies tailored to the client’s goals.

• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and other related documents.

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, responding to interrogatories, preparing for and conducting depositions, and reviewing evidence.

• Lead or assist in preparing cases for trial, including securing expert witnesses, preparing trial exhibits, and pre-trial briefings.

• Represent clients in pre-trial hearings, court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, keeping them informed on case progress and advising them on legal options and strategies.

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when it aligns with their best interests.

• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines, court procedures, and ethical obligations.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities (Source: RH Legal Competency Framework).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for courtroom advocacy and legal documentation.

• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

• Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Negotiation and mediation skills to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Colorado Bar and in good standing.

• 2+ years of experience practicing litigation law in civil or commercial environments.

• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings is preferred.
