The Tolling/Production Operator will operate equipment and maintain areas in the Tolling plant. Operate Kilns, Extruders, Munson, Screens, Mills, Crusher, Calciner, Impregnations. Support the Production Team Leader, in compliance with Porocel policies, organizational goals, and applicable regulations. Making good relief at start and end of shift. Fill out paperwork on unit or units you are running. Fill bags at right weight, using the right bag; fill out tag with the date, time, weight, product, unit it came from, and operators name. Monitor units and log down specified control readings and troubleshoot unit. Work safely at all times. report anything found to be unsafe to your supervisor; always wear your safety equipment (safety glasses, steel toe boots, hardhat, and earplugs) and any other PPE, as required. Troubleshoot in your work area, communicating with your Supervisor, of any downtime or any trouble that you may have. Must have excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written. other duties as assigned by Plant Manager and Production Dept. Head.

Credentials Needed

Must have used a respirator before and have used a Tyvek suit.
