$19.13 - $23.92 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with records management activities such as archiving share point files, digitizing and filing legacy paper documents, obtaining contract completion certificates, archiving equipment manuals, and other related activities

  • Support material planning activities by assisting with coordinating procurement and logistics details with project stakeholders.

  • Assist with assembling design packets, including reviewing drawings and other electronic documents, creating SharePoint packet folders/files, reviewing process checklists, and electronically distributing packets.

  • Assist with design support activities such as drafting, developing material lists from drawings, assembling and distributing arc flash signs, assembling regulator settings booklets, etc.

  • Assist with project close out activities such as archiving share point files, obtaining Contract completion certificates, archiving equipment manuals, and other related close out activities.

  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.

  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED plus currently enrolled in a university and in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in an ABET accredited Engineering or Construction Management Program.

  • Semi-repetitive, low physical. Semi-repetitive type work which requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.

  • While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear; frequently required to walk; and occasionally required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; and color vision.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and analytical abilities. The ability to work with others and meet deadlines.
