Hormel Foods Maint. Electrician -12hr-AM Shift - Skippy in Little Rock, Arkansas
5 years industrial or 2 years military experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, including 480-volt industrial control circuits, electrical motors, and drives
Experience inspecting equipment using predictive maintenance technologies such as: oil analysis, infrared, ultrasonic, thermal imaging, etc. in order to prevent failures and ensure reliability
Experience in 2 of the following skill sets: welding, plumbing, carpentry, auto repair, sheet metal fabrication, millwright work, HVAC
Experience troubleshooting or programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus
Demonstrated initiative in solving problems, making repairs, troubleshooting, and developing corrective actions
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends, as business dictates
Preferred:
A strong knowledge of National Electrical Code, including a Masters electrical license
2-year technical degree, military training certification, or journeyman license
Entry Pay Rate : M1: $27.50
Work Schedule: 12HR - AM Shift Hours : 6:30a to 7p, except Wednesdays - Rotating weekly below:
One week: Tuesday (12hrs), Wednesday (6hrs), Saturday and Sunday (12hrs) - Guaranteed 42hrs
Next week: Monday (12hrs), Wednesday (6hrs), Thursday and Friday (12hrs) - Guaranteed 42hrs
Compensation : $27.50 with a .50cents raise at 90 days and 120 days of completion. $1.00 shift differential, when applicable
