What You\'ll Do:

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of talented event sales managers and coordinators to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Strategize & Grow: Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities, drawing on both the hotel\'s meeting space and the adjacent Statehouse Convention Center.

  • Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local partners. Be a trusted advisor to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to create compelling event packages and promotional campaigns.

  • Client Experience Champion: From initial inquiry to event execution, ensure a seamless and extraordinary experience for clients and guests.

  • Keep an Eye on the Big Picture: Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to drive strategic decisions and ensure the property\'s continued success as a top event venue.

What We\'re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in event sales or related leadership roles, ideally within a high-volume convention hotel or convention center.

  • Proven Sales Skills: Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.

  • Leadership Qualities: Strong management skills with an ability to inspire and cultivate a positive team culture.

  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding ability to build rapport and convey ideas effectively.
