We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Conway, Arkansas. In this role, you will be managing accounting functions for our manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and providing crucial support in budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and review of inventory for the plant location

• Conduct cost of goods sold and gross profit analysis for customers produced at the plant location

• Perform maintenance and analysis of expenses on manufacturing operations at the plant location

• Assist in the review and reconciliation of balance sheets

• Handle intercompany accounting with other plant locations and corporate entity

• Ensure compliance of the plant's financial control processes and systems with company policies and applicable regulations

• Assist in the capital budgeting process and preparation of ROI documentation when needed

• Recommend and implement programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs

• Apply knowledge of GAAP Accounting in daily tasks

• Assist the Controller as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements • Assistant Controller role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential for this role.

• Experience with Concur is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is required.

• Understanding of DCAA regulations is expected.

• Capability to carry out various Accounting Functions effectively is necessary.

• Must be adept at handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Auditing skills form a key requirement for this position.

• Must be capable of efficiently handling Billing Functions.
