The Environmental Engineering and Consulting team delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. We address our clients\' biggest concerns around permitting, ecoservices, assessment, and remediation.
Our highly trained and experienced engineers and scientists, environmental and remediation specialists, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, and environmental compliance specialists work with both public- and private-sector clients, delivering turnkey solutions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Our Accounts Receivable/Invoicing Analyst position is an entry level position located in Little Rock, AR and will report to the Invoicing Manager.
As a key member of the MES Center of Excellence, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Responsibilities:
Process invoices:Prepare accurate and timely invoices based on purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements.
Data entry and verification:Input and verify data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy of customer information, quantities, pricing, and tax calculations.
Maintain records:Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems for invoices and related documentation.
Customer service:Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, answer questions clearly and professionally.
Accounts receivable collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue payments, and coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve issues and expedite collections.
Resolve discrepancies:Identify and research any inconsistencies in invoices, communicate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
Reporting:Generate reports on invoicing activity and outstanding balances as needed.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Working understanding of invoicing principles and basic accounting concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software programs.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn the ins and outs of Workday and a willingness to explore its functionalities.
- Possess a strong eye for detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities nd attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
