Volt LAB Technician I in Little Canada, Minnesota
Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech I in Maplewood, MN, with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. This is a first shift position. As a Lab Tech 1 you will: • Prepare materials and organize for product testing. • Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research. • May test or make visual observations on product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester. • Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment. • Will move, arrange, sort and hang product testing weights (2lbs-20lbs) Estimated Duration 2 years. The ideal candidate will have: • Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience. • Experience use in Excel and Word. • Proven ability to problem-solve and implement solutions. • Demonstrated experience using power tools and testing equipment. • Ability to take instructions (verbal and written) and complete a task with little or no supervision : Pay Rate: $22.90 hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
