Navistar, Inc. Fleet Card Program Manager in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

The Fleet Card Program Manager requires a strategic, resourceful, solution-oriented thinker with strong analytical skills who has the ability to develop and manage card program strategy, and set and execute against program objectives, following company policies and guidelines to achieve the best possible business results.

As the longest running card program of its type in the trucking industry, Fleet Charge has a rich history of enabling a VIP customer experience across our independently owned and operated International Truck and IC Bus dealer network and is a key enabler of retail data insights for the Navistar organization. As such, this person will also play a pivotal role in understanding the customer experience and establishing strategies and the dealer integration roadmap.

This position has significant scope and opportunity to launch/grow new partnerships that will serve to support Navistar’s future growth across parts, maintenance, and service solutions, which will in turn deliver outsized value to our customers and shareholders.

This position reports into the Director, Retail Enablement and is based in Lisle, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team that overseeing the end-to-end processes of the card program.

  • Maintain program websites, manuals, trainings; development of SOP’s ensuring program alignment & approvals.

  • Analyze and report on program metrics, providing industry best-in-class comparisons, trend analysis, and spend data analysis to identify potential issues or opportunities.

  • Manage a team that monitors program risk, including conducting various analyses and acting on the results to improve controls and maximize program rebate.

  • Identify program modifications or opportunities to improve and/or expand the card program as business needs dictate.

  • Adapt to change and understand downstream impacts to the program, team and internal business partners

  • Project management and process improvement experience including the Management of annual budget for the Program

  • Lead, coach, mentor a team of 3 along with a third party relationship.

  • Develop and present training on a variety of card program related topics

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 10 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

    OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 8 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

    OR

  • At least 12 years of project/program management experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
