Navistar, Inc. EV Charging Solution Partnership Manager in Lisle, Illinois

We currently have an opportunity for an EV Charging Solution Partnership Manager that will support the Mobility Solutions team by facilitating industry partnerships that align with Navistar’s charging solution strategy. The EV Charging Solution Partnership Manager will work with partners across the full charging solution value chain to build and manage business models and agreements to provide the best-fit charging solution for client needs.

The position will be based in our Lisle, Illinois headquarters and report into our Director of Mobility Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead charging solution supplier market exploration processes and charging solution partner identification

  • Build and lead onboarding processes for new partners

  • Develop KPIs and monitor partner performance and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights

  • Manage existing partner relationships, focusing on commercial and quality improvements and ensuring alignment with company objectives

  • Set up and (re-)negotiate cooperation / framework agreements with partners

  • Monitor and advise on market conditions and competitor activity

  • React to changes in the market by proposing, drafting, and developing new concepts

  • Work with our commercial, service, product and marketing teams to deliver new initiatives, improving user experience for Navistar charging solutions

  • Contribute to Navistar’s general charging solution strategy development

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 10 of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 8 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

OR

  • At least 12 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field with at least 8 years of energy industry experience

  • Industry experience in Partner Management, Sales, Business Development, or Project Management, preferably in the EV charging or e-mobility industry

  • Strong program management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Solid negotiations and influencing skills, along with an understanding of financial metrics, data analytics, and contract management

  • Articulate technical concepts and business value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences with a data-driven i.e. fact-based approach to decision-making and a passion for innovation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate to external and internal stakeholders (on executive level)

  • Experience developing presentation materials for and interfacing with executive management

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively handle multiple activities and respond to changing priorities with good judgment
