Blueprint Interpretation: Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal/written instructions to complete projects accurately. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery, ensuring optimal performance. Machine Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments to machinery for precise and efficient operation. Speeds and Feeds: Establish and adjust proper speeds and feeds for different materials and projects. AS9100 Compliance: Utilize AS9100 procedures to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges encountered during machining. Quality Inspection: Measure and inspect all work to meet print specifications and quality standards. Programming: Perform programming tasks to ensure accurate execution of machining operations. Maintenance: Conduct regular machine maintenance to maintain optimal functionality and longevity. Education: High School diploma or Trade School certification. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Technical Skills: Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (preferred). Basic computer skills for documentation and machine interface. Familiarity with AS9100 standards. Math Skills: Competent in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations. Communication Skills: Functional verbal and reading English skills for clear communication. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
