The Channel Marketing Advisor is a hybrid Channel Marketing and Field Marketing role. The primary purpose is to work in partnership with regional Sales, Zebra marketing teams, and partners, to develop marketing plans, drive demand through regional/partner campaigns, execute events, create sales enablement tools, and leverage MDF and COOP Funds. The advisor will develop and activate demand initiatives and maintain strong field and marketing relationships. This role drives visibility to, and adoption of, partner capabilities and campaigns, promotes new product launches, adapts, activates, and executes and shapes campaigns to align with market needs. It is also responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing plans for targeted partners to accelerate growth. This position also owns the development of annual business/marketing plans through collaborative planning processes aligned with Zebra’s go-to-market initiatives with the unique strengths of each partner and deliver a plan with clear goals, objectives and metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with sales, marketing, and channel partners to understand and support the business and become a trusted marketing advisor for sales, marketing, and partners. This includes understanding key verticals, customer business issues, and sales growth initiatives, as well as key Partners/Distributors/Alliance Partners, and partner unique value propositions.

  • Develops and manages integrated marketing plans for focus areas of responsibility in conjunction with the regional marketing vertical/product, and channel strategy teams in support of sales revenue targets and growth initiatives.

  • Accountable for content and campaign selection and amplification of Global and Regional Marketing messages and demand gen campaigns across the partner community.

  • Develops local demand programs to support focused areas specific needs and revenue opportunities.

  • Collaborates with channel sales teams and partners to design marketing actions that are aligned to overall marketing objectives with the key local Channel and Distribution Partners as defined by sales.

  • Accelerates go-to-market execution and close partner marketing capabilities gap. Boost partner go-to-market effectiveness and leverage the Marketing Accelerator platform (programs, tools, content) and associated marketing agencies to develop and execute the partner related marketing initiatives.

  • Be the voice of the partner and focused area customers to drive awareness and implementation of effective campaigns and events.

  • Manages MDF/COOP budgets. Ensures that the overall marketing program remains within budget and measure program performance vs. territory pipeline and revenue - marketing influenced and driven.

  • Amplifies and shares best practice and successful marketing activities with key stakeholders across Zebra.

  • Be accountable for starting the project, driving through the partner/business, and report on results. Educate and enable sales teams and channel. Drive marketing campaigns and measurable results and share outcomes and sales results.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience with business or marketing focus

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience

  • In-depth knowledge of channels of distribution (IT and Value Add) and partner routes-to-market

  • Experience transforming business objectives into marketing goals/strategies

  • Experience in product, solution and vertical marketing, including integrated campaign development

  • Whole product lifecycle marketing experience—from NPI to EOL

  • Demonstrated ability to drive decisions, deliver results on short timelines, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of channel GTM readiness and financial health of the channel

  • 10% travel annually

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Government or health care vertical experience strongly preferred

Salary: USD 104400.00 - USD 156600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
