Responsibilities of a Dental Assisting Instructor

• Deliver engaging and interactive lectures and hands-on training sessions

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

• Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and practical exams

• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dental technology and practices

• Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop professional skills

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience

  Requirements of a Dental Assisting Instructor

• Minimum 5 years of Dental Assisting experience

• Valid state Dental Assisting License

  Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

• Certification in Dental Assisting (CDA) preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for teaching and helping students succeed

• No prior teaching experience required; comprehensive training will be provided
