Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for handling finished goods and work in process (WIP) with standing forklifts, pallet jacks, as well as by hand to safely transfer product to its correct location. Duties include practicing smart operating techniques to ensure the safety of the entire team, using warehouse software to accurately log product locations, picking orders, loading trucks, hand sorting and stacking parts, wrapping and packaging products, unloading inbound trucks, filling out trailer logs for load accuracy, visually inspecting parts for flaws, pulling non-conforming inventory for quarantine, and accurately recording job progress.

Work Environment

This role operates in a large, climate-controlled sheet metal facility.. The team size is expected to grow to 35 members. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays when applicable. Uniform shirts are provided, though candidates are expected to wear steel-toe shoes, jeans, and a plain shirt until uniforms arrive. The pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour.
