Job Title: Maintenance Technician -- Weekly Pay -- First Shift!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and operating manual lathe and mill machines. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining in-house built machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines throughout the facility (80% of the time).

  • Read blueprints and schematics to effectively troubleshoot machines.

  • Operate manual lathe and mill machines for tooling (20% of the time).

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of preventative maintenance in an industrial environment.

  • 6+ months experience reading blueprints and schematics.

  • 6+ months experience with manual mills and lathes.

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large industrial manufacturing facility with wide open spaces, where you will generally have a large work area to yourself. Due to the presence of saws, you will wear hearing protection, and the environment can be dirty if you rub against machinery. The team size includes working with one other person, reporting to a supervisor. Shifts are from 7-4 or 8-5, with the latter providing an hour and a half to complete maintenance tasks without interruption. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, a t-shirt, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
